Sharks cove is my family's favorite place to snorkel, we come here every time we make the drive to the north shore. Although it is called sharks cove, there aren't actually sharks here! It's just shaped like a shark- this worried me as a child. To reach the cove you have to climb down a rock path, there really isn't a sand beach to sit on, you set your belongings on a rock and go snorkel! This cove is home to many friendly turtles, I always see a few when I come, they don't mind swimming with you for a while if you stay calm and don't freak them out. At the end of the cove on the sides there are underwater caves. My friend Billy enjoys swimming through them, I don't enjoy watching him do this, once he got stuck in one and had to rip his leg through to get out.
