This is an epic surfing beach in the winter. Surfers travel from all around the world to surf here, and it is the host of many famous surfing competitions. It is also the home to the famous Volcom surf house.
 This beach is interesting because of the way the waves have shaped it. The waves have pushed the sand up so that it forms a hill where the sand meets the water. So there is a big drop off between the shore and the sea- which can be a little unsettling.
