I’d never heard of this hike before one of my friend’s mothers asked me if I wanted to join her on it. The first 3/4th of the hike is simple, a dirt path that gently curves up a mountain slope, with an open view down the mountain the whole way up. About halfway up the slope is a small rope and wooden swing, it’s very picturesque. My favorite part of this hike is the top, it’s very muddy and slippery, and you have to use a rope to assist in the climb to the top. I slide down more than once.

Although the top of the mountain is hazy, it provides a beautiful view of the East side of the island to one side, and from the other a beautiful view of the tropical forests that make up so much of the island.
